We are excited to have this new venue of Christian communication for our members. This blog will be used for a multitude of discussions among the people of God. This site is open for everyone to view and contribute to. So, we encourage you to pass the link on to your friends and family members. Over the next 40 days "The Hope" blog discussions will center around our "all Church" Bible study, Treasures of the transformed life.

Third New Hope Baptist Church
Dedicated to providing a diverse ministry community that will assist both believers and non-believers in developing close, intimate relationships with God. We are a Christian community of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are committed to His Word and to His way of life. We believe in the study of the Bible and accept it as the authoritative word of God. We believe in the equality of the human race and the full expression of gifts and callings of individuals. We are dedicated to the worship of God, fellowship of believers, the spiritual nurture of each Christian and active Missions and Evangelism. Our Pastor of 35 years is the phenomenal Edward L. Branch.
Third New Hope Baptist Church is located in Detroit, MI at 12850 Plymouth (just 2 blocks west of Meyers Rd.).
Our worship services are each Sunday at 8:00am, 10:00am & 12noon

I am so excited about this blog site. I can't wait to read what Pastor will have to say about the lessons we're learning through Treasures of a transformed life.
The Treasures of the transformed life is already doing wonderful things in my life...my small group is wonderful...I pray that everyone joins us so that thier life can be transformed too.
Words cannot express what I have experienced since embarking on this transformational journey. My prayer life has become more focused and intentional. I have begun to experience the presence of God in ways I never have before. My small group experience has been phenomenal. God has been showing me some things about myself that I knew but was scared to really face; but it has been liberating for me. My prayer is for boldness for Third New Hope, that we can really begin to understand and manifest the power that God has already given us to proclaim His name. Thank you so much, Pastor Branch, for being the man of God that you are. I see YOU in the future, and your future looks better!! I see YOU walking in power and prosperity too. Praise the Lord! And I'll leave all of you with this, a prayer that one of the members of my group shared at our first meeting: God, don't just comfort us, CHANGE us; God, don't just touch us, TRANSFORM us!

Ifeel so BLESSED OF GOD to be surrounded by a small group that has blessed me so and shown me the courage to take self inventory! I need so much HELP from the LORD and my prayer was that God would surround me with people who could lead me more in the direction of Christ. I am not a member of Third New Hope, but have been attending the classes on Treasures of the Transformed Life on Mondays, Bible Study on Wednesday, and attending Sunday Service. This book has done amazing things for me in my personal life. Pastor Schmidt your teaching last night didn't just fly over our heads it stuck to our souls can't wait to hear from you tonight. And I can't forget Pastor Bernstein you were awesome. You didn't sugar coat it for us you told us just what time it is and that is a "Short Time", but all in the same breath it is "A Great Chance For A Great Change. I too can't wait to hear from you tonight also. Thanks Pastor Branch for introducing me to this powerful book that is life chaning.
