Prayer, Presence, Gifts, Service

A few weeks have passed and here we are. The real test of transformation is consistency. Do you know what it means to be consistent? Well, it means mustering up the ability and energy to continue the course. Winners are able to achieve great things because they are consistent in their disciplines. Anything worth doing requires developing and maintaining a pace that proves to be beneficial and keeping it up. We are bound to lose when we are inconsistent. When we start and then stop and then start again and again we lose ground and time, we lose altogether!

In order for us to be winners and to claim our transformation we must be consistent with Prayer, Presence, Gifts and Service. It takes bold energy to make it happen, but we don't want the hard work of the past weeks to go in vain. Some of us worked pretty hard at keeping up on our readings and making our group meetings. Some of us put in special time to make sure that we finished well. Some of us sacrificed beyond measure to achieve our transformation, we can't allow all of that to be for nothing!

We may need to strategically revisit the transformation journey. Get your book back out, find the chapters and pages that spoke to your spirit. Refresh yourselves and take a deep breath and keep in the swing of things. Transformation is more than an event, it's a journey. Real transformation is for those who are willing to hang in there for the long haul. We must continue to rehearse the themes of Prayer, Presence, Gifts and Service. We must also live them out in our walk of faith.

I thought it might be helpful if some of us share with others of us what we are doing to keep the fire of transformation burning in our hearts. Are you continuing to read your book, or meet with your small group? Are you engaged in regular times of prayer, bible study or worship? How are you making it happen? Again, consistency is the name of the game. I trust that you really want to make the absolute best of your transformation experience. Please know that I'm praying for you every day. Keep in going!

Thanks Pastor for setting an example and being consistent with these writings. I'm excited to say that one of the people that was in my small group joined church on Sunday. We have to maintain the bond that we developed in our groups and continue to encourage each other.

I have a testimony. You prayed for us to receive an unexpected financial blessing, but it would not be for us but for our church. The next one would be for us. Well I received my blessing, (thank you for praying) and I was obedient and put the whole thing in church on Sunday and on Monday I received another one for me! God sure works fast sometimes.

Prayer, Presence, Gifts and Service, I hear you Pastor and I will continue to claim my transformation.

I'm praying for you and our church daily.

I am going to get my book back out. I feel encouraged, but I know I would be even more encouraged after reading the book a second time.

This is the first book I have completed besides the bible with my church. The reason I really need to read the book over is because I did alot of catching up and I was not on accord with the rest of the church.

This time I'm going to take my time and read a chapter everyday except sunday and let it absorb in my mind/spirit. This time I'm going to be more focused. I'm going to start this monday all over again.

The book is very refreshing, and I don't want to cheat myself out of this powerful information that I need to apply to my life.

I can tell that I have grown, and want to continue to grow so I'm going to read Treasures of a Transformed Life as many times as I need to. I will share what the second time was like when I'm finished. I sure It will be even better than the first time.
