What can be more powerful than a vision from God? It is vision that gives us energy and vitality. Vision helps to define our purpose and gives us clarity of destiny. When God gives a vision God also holds us accountable for properly responding to it. The fitting response to a God-given vision is to position ourselves to fulfill it! That's exactly what we are doing at Third New Hope. We are shifting and organizing ourselves to fulfill the vision God has given us.
We have secured the services of masterful architects and we have partnered with financial strategists to bring to pass the vision of building a Community Center on the acquired property adjacent to our present worship center. Steps are being taken to prepare the hearts of God's people for what God wants us to do. "Where God gives a Vision, God also gives Provision!" I'm believing God for something wonderful and I hope you are too.
Our church is alive and growing. God has given us the opportunity to touch the lives of so many people. In order for us to continue going and growing we must complete the vision to build the Community Center. This will serve as a catalyst for the redevelopment of our community and demonstrate the power of God to transform neighborhoods as well as people! Third New Hope is committed to the Detroit community and our investment makes a strong statement to that effect.
This is our time and our season for carrying out God's vision. I continue to say, "God is up to something!" I really believe that. It becomes the task of every one of us to find our something within the something God is up to. That means all of us joining with God in making great things happen for the kingdom. Whatever you can give, personally, spiritually, financially or otherwise will help to make this vision a reality. Just think about it, you and I, partners with God!

I too am excited about the Vision and the Lifestyle Stewardship Campaign. I beleive that the coummunity center will better able and equip our ministries to effectuate a change within the surrounding community and beyond. These facilites will aid the people can and will help restore the people. This comunity center is about service to ALL the people of God (believers and non-believers) and showing them God's love. I believe that this community center will allow our ministries to meet those within the community at their point of need, and help them see their worth through God. I thank God for Life and a Pastor who is willing to do His Will in a steadfast (uncompromised) way, serving ALL in a spirit of Hope, Love and Luke 4:18. God Bless You Pastor Branch and continue to give you strength for the Journey & Vision He has set before you. Let us All remember that it is not the amount of the gift but the amount of the Sacrifice.
"Wow." This is powerful! "You and I, partners with God." I love that thought and there is no better partner.
When I first read this I was blown away. I had to leave it and come back after giving it some thought. I knew after our first introduction to the stewardship campaign that there was something incredible in this for me. Not only is this an opportunity for me to be a blessing to my church, but my destiny has been made clearer already.
I pray that everyone understands that accountability piece. It's time for us to get serious about the things of God and to get in where we are called. It's about God's Kingdom not our own agenda.
Our church is alive and growing and I'm proud to be a part it.
I'm diligently trying to find my "Something" within God's "Something."
Bless you, Pastor.
"You and I Partners with god"... what an awesome thought. If we went about life thinking of God as our partner we would be a mighty people. just think about when you had school projects. You always prayed that you would be paired with a good partner. Life can't get any better than having God as your partner. When you're paired with the best the expectation of greatness is there. When you partner with the best all things are possible. You're only limited by what YOU put into it.
I see the vision and I'm expecting great things from it. I'm ready to put my all into it.
Well, things are moving forward. We're meeting with Dr. Norman in our different groups, we're praying, we're making plans and everyone seems to be excited. Some of the leaders are a little overhelmed, (this was expected) but the team members are encouraging them and offering assistants where ever needed. This is an awesome time in the life of our church and it's bringing us closer to each other and closer to God.
I'm excited,
Love You TNH.
